Project description

Guille Frank is a solo project of contemporary Latin orchestral folk from Guadalajara, built around one premise: music that disguises pain as epic.

The songs start from intimacy and build upward through a layered sound architecture: piano, strings, violas, synthesizers, bass and electronic elements that appear, disappear and evolve until the climax.

The production is designed to reward repeat listening: reverbed backing vocals, strings in the background, pianos that hold without interrupting, and arrangements that gradually transform the song.

The voice remains the axis: close and controlled in intimate moments, yet able to carry larger-scale productions.

It is a project that can grow into an orchestral production, but can always return to one voice and one guitar.

Brief history

Guille Frank is Guillermo Franco, an independent musician, composer and producer from Guadalajara.

He started with electronic tracks and moved on to guitar, piano and a voice of more than three octaves. Since 2019 he has built a project of his own, going through losses and learning, with one clear direction: to turn what he has lived into songs.

In 2022 a family loss stopped him. Guille Frank has always existed, and today has its own catalog, a defined identity and a proposal that grows with every release.

In 2026 he graduated, formally set up his company and played his first concert, on February 28. Now he is preparing a tribute to Kevin Kaarl with a full band.

Artistic positioning

Guille Frank is a contemporary Latin orchestral folk project that explores different ways of building and developing a song.

It combines the intimate writing of a singer-songwriter with instrumental arrangements that evolve throughout each piece. Pianos, strings, synthesizers and electronic elements live alongside the acoustic guitar and voice, without all of them having to be present in every song.

In Niña Miel, for example, the instrumentation grows progressively until it gives way to a violin and viola solo. Toward the end, three violas take the lead and close the piece.

This production freedom lets each song find its own dimension, from an acoustic performance to a full orchestral arrangement.

Project status

Guille Frank is developing De Miel, his next record, together with La Semilla MGMT in Spain.
